Coronavirus COVID-19 Statement

*Treatments have closed as from Tuesday 24th March until further notice. However, we are hoping to reopen again soon*

Rachel Alexander is proud to announce that strict hygiene practices to prevent infection and cross-contamination have always been at the forefront of our operating techniques, as they are for all good artists working in the industry. This will continue to be the case throughout the Coronavirus outbreak. They include:

• Use of 70% IPA hand gel before applying make-up to clients

• Use of palettes and spatulas to decant products before client use

• Use of disposable applicators, such as mascara wands and small brushes

• Careful disposal of used products, applicators, wipes and tissues

• Brush, equipment and palette cleaning using 99% isopropyl alcohol (IPA)

• Spray of touched surfaces such as bottles and containers with 99% IPA

In addition, clients on courses will be asked to wash their hands for 20 seconds before applying make-up.

Booking and Cancellation

Appointments will continue as usual. Rachel Alexander is monitoring the Government and NHS websites daily for updates, and will inform clients of any changes to their appointments. In the case of a UK lockdown, all appointments can be re-booked free of charge. If you are unable to rebook, a full refund of any deposits paid will be made.

All vouchers will be honoured and extended for the extent of the lockdown and government restrictions, i.e., if lrestrictions are for four months, your voucher will be extended for four months beyond its expiry date, no matter when that date is.

Group Bookings

These will continue as planned unless we are advised otherwise by the Government. If the Government is to implement a large group policy and your group falls within that number, rebooking can be made free of charge. In the event of a cancellation due to Government legislation, a full refund of any deposits paid to Rachel Alexander will be made.

Client Illness

If you have an appointment booked and are suffering from the following:

• Fever

• Coughing

• Shortness of breath

Please do not keep your appointment. Instead, please inform Rachel Alexander and at a later date, rebook your appointment. If you are unable to rebook, a full refund of any deposits paid will be made.

Rachel Alexander company illness

If I, or any of my contractors fall ill with COVID-19 we will self-isolate for 14 days, and therefore will not attend your appointment if it falls within this time frame. You will be informed as soon as possible if this happens, and may rebook. If you are unable to rebook, you will receive a full refund of any deposits paid.
