What's In My Kit?
About me

I love the industry I'm in!

Rachel Alexander is a bespoke brand. Nothing gives me more pleasure than working with a client to produce a look that's tailored to suit them. Colours are matched to the client's skin tone, eye colour and outfit, which means that no two clients ever have the same make-up. As an advanced artist I don't take a look and use a 'best fit' option to project an image onto you; no-one wants to look exactly the same as everyone else in their bridal/prom/graduation photographs! And I don't restrict myself to one make-up brand or try to sell you make-up products. Rather, the image, colours and products that I use are tailored to you, to bring out the best of your features, because you are individual and unique. See what's in  my kit (click here)

The most fun part of my job, apart from playing with colour and hue, is getting to know you. Other than your finished look, the most important thing is having a raport with your make-up artist. You need to feel comfortable with the artist that you hire. So talk to me! Tell me about you; your likes and dislikes, loves and hates when it comes to make-up and your finished look. The more you can tell me, the better your finished result will be, until you have a look that is perfect!

I trained under Nathalie Page at the Media Makeup School, Telford, to gain the following qualifications:

Cosmetic Makeup Certificate
Bridal Makeup Certificate
Advanced Bridal Makeup Certificate
Complete Bridal Makeup Artist Programme

All of the above qualifications are regulated and accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists. Training is closely and strictly monitored by the Guild, and membership is allowed only to those who have passed Guild-accredited qualifications. The Guild of Beauty Therapists is the Beauty Industry's recognised regulatory body.

Nathalie Page is a well-known practitioner in the beauty trade, who has worked in TV and media for many years, and trains beauticians, beauty lecturers and make-up artists.

I also hold a B. Ed (Hons).
